Fight 'til you find
Water controls the tide
The earth isn't yours to shake
Try and you might hear what the sun has to say
Scent of the sky
Honeysuckle in my gaze
I wander in a timeless haze
Sitting into silence that they taught me to break
It is the wave that misses the shore
It is the seed that wishes to grow
It is the water that started so cold
Lightning awaits
Lighting the path you crave
I wanted to find my fate
Looking through a lens created by the mind's gate
It is the wind that whistles in caves
It is the mouth that misses your taste
It is the fire that teaches you pain
It is the lie that keeps you afraid
It is the wine that helps you feel brave
It isn't mine, all these things that I gave

Cocoon
03:48
|
|||
All we ever want is within
a cloud of intent;
why be disillusioned
by a failed
Endeavour
made her scared of leisure;
Trying to sing without breathing won't create a sound
and brightness lives under the ground
Highs and wine to reach the divine;
Sinning blindly to create a heaven on the earth;
It's just your mind that's giving birth
An ogre can live in a fortress;
Dirt is necessary to grow all the things we eat;
it's not just the sun raising seeds;
you'll find the beauty in all things
Water doesn't decide its form,
and inside a cocoon,
the image of a butterfly can't live inside
The mind
tries to conceive
the vastness of the sea

A Still, Quiet Crane
05:35
|
|||
A still, quiet crane
poised by the lotus
on a flawless emerald plate
it waits, and waits
So, what is thought,
but a chance to slow down the time?
To keep it from slipping between fingertips
and holes in our hands
You are the sun in the morning
Lighting the waves
Fly by my garden on your way
For what are we but bodies?
So, what is chance,
but the aligning of time?
The dots intersect
and can fade when regrets
fall into our pride
We laid in sacred places
Breathed the calmest seas
We grew branches on each others' trees
For what are we but bodies?
